At Capta, we respect your privacy and process personal data in accordance with applicable regulations.

We only collect the data necessary for the App to function:

a) Account Data

  • Email address
  • Unique user identifier (UID generated by Firebase)
  • Apple Identifier (if "Sign in with Apple" is used)

b) Location Data

  • Precise GPS coordinates when the user uses geolocation features

c) User-Generated Content

  • Captured or imported photographs
  • Saved coordinates and waypoints

If you use the App without logging in (Offline Mode), all this information is stored exclusively on your device.

d) Technical and Diagnostic Data

  • Basic device information
  • Error logs (if enabled to improve service stability)

3. Purpose of Processing

Data is used exclusively to:

  • Allow the App to function
  • Authenticate the user account
  • Save and sync data
  • Improve service stability and security

We do not use data for:

  • Third-party advertising
  • Selling information
  • Cross-app or website tracking

4. Legal Basis

The legal basis for processing is:

  • Execution of the contract derived from using the App
  • Consent given by accepting this Policy

5. Storage and Security

Data may be stored:

  • On the user's device
  • On secure servers managed via Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure)

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are applied to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

6. Data Retention

Data will be retained as long as the account remains active.

The user can delete their account at any time from within the app. Once deleted, associated data will be removed from our systems within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Third-Party Services

Capta uses:

  • Firebase Authentication
  • Firebase Firestore

These services may process data according to their own privacy policies.

8. User Rights

The user can:

  • Request access to their data
  • Request rectification
  • Request deletion
  • Withdraw consent
